Are you a local financial institution that is helping connect manufacturers or makers of color with capital? A non-profit that is partnering with other leaders in your city to create new pathways to capital for entrepreneurs? A seed fund that is giving makers or manufacturers of color the capital they need to get started? 

If you are, we’d love to hear from you. And if you aren’t one of these, but think you have a pretty cool program or idea, we’d love to hear from you too.

We’ll select up to 10 practitioners for this cohort. If selected, we’ll help you with the following: 

• Bespoke technical assistance for your program, business, or model that supplements your staff
• Knowledge exchange through UMA’s deep network (800+ members in nearly 200 cities) and existing resources
• Build connections and collaborative problem-solving through the cohort network
• Have access to an Advisory Board of experts in mission-driven capital access
• Provide opportunities to have your stories documented and shared in the media, at events, and through our partners, all at the local and national level

Simply put, UMA benefits by making sure the cohort benefits. We see opportunities for selected organizations to expand or strengthen their programs, raising the potential that they acquire new forms of financial and institutional support after the cohort wraps up.
